Renew online

If you've recently paid your dues online, thank you. We will update your record. But it's not too late, there's still time to pay your dues from this reminder. Whether you’re at home or away, it’s easy to extend your membership today.

  • NEW QUICK PAY OPTION: Many members have asked Sons of Norway for email renewal reminders and online payment options. Our secure site gives you convenient 24/7 access. Use it and save a stamp! Paying online also helps avoid postal or other delays, so we can process your renewal and deliver your updated member credentials as quickly as possible.
  • Go to Renew Membership | Sons of Norway. No log in is required to renew membership.
  • A new option for Sons of Norway is to send you an email regarding membership renewal payments.  Your name and membership number will be in the body of the email for ease of use.  It does lead you to online banking.  You can, however, still pay by cheque in CAD$ to avoid bank transaction fees and currency exchange.  You should still receive a paper bill. Their capabilities don’t currently include pdfs of all these 'dues bills'.

 From Sons of Norway International:

  • New member membership cards – these cards will no longer be adhered to the letter, but instead be included in the design of the letter, so members can simply cut the card design out of the new member letter.
  • Renewing member membership cards – Renewing members will continue to receive a new membership card annually. The cards will no longer be adhered to the letter, but instead be included in the design of the letter, so members can simply cut the card design out of the renewing member letter.
  • As an effort for continuous improvement, we are working toward a print on demand feature so that members can download their membership card, then print when and where they wish. This will offer our members the convenience of retrieving membership information any time it is needed.

Dues still in effect for Canada and Norway

As of  January 1, 2020, the simplified dues program that was introduced to US lodges in 2018 is extended to members in Canada and Norway. As of this date, all lodges in each country will charge the same dues rates. There are two main dues rates: Individual and Family.

Individual Membership (covers one person)

Canada: Regular – $58 CAD / Golden – $38 CAD

Norway: Regular  – 475 NOK / Golden – 350 NOK

Family Membership (covers all family members living or receiving mail at the same address)

Canada: Regular – $88 CAD / Golden* – $62 CAD

Norway: Regular – 800 NOK / Golden* – 635 NOK

Unge Venner

There will no longer be special or reduced dues for members ages 16–23 (formerly called Unge Venner). They will now be treated as regular adult members.

Golden Membership

Golden Membership will continue to be awarded under the new dues structure, but those who become new Golden Members on or after January 1, 2020, will be charged the regular dues rates and will not receive a discount.

Heritage Membership

Free Heritage Membership for ages 0–15 will still be available.

* This is the rate for a Family with two Golden Members. The rates are different for families with mixed membership categories, such as one Golden, one regular, or one Lifetime, etc. Contact Membership Services for details at 1-800-945-8851 x4643 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
