Professor Ingrid Urberg, University of Alberta--Augustana Campus
 
As you are aware, 2025 marks the 200th anniversary of the start of organized migration from Norway to North America. In her presentation, Ingrid Urberg will provide a brief introduction to the year-long Crossings celebrations in Norway, Canada, and the United States. She will also discuss the lasting impact of "The Minnesota Norwegians" on Central Alberta, one of the many chapters of Norwegian migration to Canada.
