Torskeklubben

Torskeklubben of Edmonton is a men's club associated with the Sons of Norway Lodge in Edmonton. The first meeting of Torskeklubben was held on February 3, 1970, with Dr. Chester Ronning as guest speaker. The first Bas was Harvey Haugen. The first secretary was Grant Erickson and Inge Anderson was the treasurer. The current Bas is Arnie Lund.

The club members and guests meet at 6:00 P.M. on the first Tuesday of each month at the Petroleum Club to share a meal of torsk, a sampling of Aquavit, and a large portion of good fellowship and an entertaining guest speaker.
